Stamping is a kind of metal cold deformation processing method. So it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, referred to as stamping. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing), and also belongs to the material forming engineering technology. Stamping parts used by the die known as stamping die, referred to as the die. Stamping die is a special tool for batch processing materials (metal or nonmetal) into required stamping parts. The stamping die is very important in stamping. Without the required die, it is difficult to carry out the batch stamping production; without the die, the stamping process can not be realized. Stamping process and die, stamping equipment and stamping materials constitute the three elements of stamping process, only when they are combined can stamping parts be obtained.

In the process of metal stamping parts processing, sometimes we find that there are some burr with different sizes and degrees, which has an impact on the product quality. So how to solve it?

1、 There are tools to remove burr of metal stamping parts

1. Hole: use chamfering cutter or the front end of drill bit with larger diameter to deburring holes of metal stamping parts.

2. Side: use file, oilstone, sandpaper, grindstone.

3. Welding slag: vibration tool can also remove brittle burr.

4. Outer diameter: in the process of metal stamping, the lathe is used for guiding angle.

2、 Manual removal of burr on metal stamping parts

1. The deburring effect of air gun with various shapes of gun head is better and the speed is high.

2. Vibration grinding deburring (gear Burr), the speed is very high, the quality is OK.

3. Electrochemical deburring: if self-made equipment, the cost is not high.

4. The surface stress of heat treated parts can also be eliminated by shot peening.

The reason of warping deformation of the drawing part is that the clearance force and reaction force do not produce torque on the same line. (warping deformation occurs when the clearance between punch and die is too large and the edge of die has anti taper, or the contact area between ejector and workpiece is too small)

The blanking clearance should be selected reasonably;

In the mold structure, the pressure plate (or support plate) should be added to contact the plane of the pressing plate and have pressure;

Check the cutting edge of the die. If there is reverse taper, trim the edge of the die properly.

If the shape of the blanking part is complex and there are many inner holes, the shearing force is not uniform and the pressing force is increased. Before blanking, the strip is compressed or the high-precision press is used for blanking.
